Water Color Broadsides: Grasshopper With No Legs, Hemetagra

The Grasshopper With No Legs
He came to me and said, " I bet there's something you'd really like to know."
I sat down to think a bit. But I just couldn't spit.
So I asked him, "Is it gonna rain?"
He said, "Yes sir, and all through your night it will rain."
Then the bird he flew in and sat on by.
He asked, "So why would you trust this legless fly?"
So I replied.
"I never thought once this was real. The hopless grass, the talking bird, had never before to me said a word."
So the bird he took off and swooped below. He finished the hoppper whose legs did not grow.
And then it rain all through my day and into the night, it rained.

He-met-a-gra
He met a grasshopper and it said, "Is there anything you want to know? Anything at all."
He didn't have anything in mind and he asked... "I just want to know, is it going to rain on Halloween?"
"All day and into the night."
Then he came upon a bird and the bird said, "Is there anything you want to know? Anything at all."
He didn't have anything in mind and he asked... "Can I trust the grasshopper?"
The bird laughed.
"Why would you trust the grass that can not hop?"
And just like, that the bird swallowed the grasshopper-that-had-no-legs.
And it rained on Halloween. Most of the day. Most of the night.
